AtletIQ Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy explains what data the AtletIQ app for iPhone, Apple Watch and Android and the atletiq.com website collect, why, who it is shared with, where it is stored, and how to delete it.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Alexey Olegovich Yarmots, a sole proprietor registered in Russia (INN 860601578406, OGRNIP 317344300109070; address: 4 Proletarskaya St., Kamyshin, Russia). For any privacy question, email support@atletiq.com.
What we collect
| Data | Where it comes from | What we use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address, password | you enter them when you sign up | signing in, account and workout emails, password reset |
| IP address at sign-up | recorded by our server | service security |
| Profile: sex, date of birth, height, weight, body measurements, training level, country and city | you enter them yourself | choosing a program and calculating working weights |
| Workouts: program, sets, weights, reps, one-rep maxes, your workout rating and comment | the app and the website during a workout | calculating weights for your next session, history and progress |
| Workout report photos | camera or photo library, only when you attach a photo | your workout feed |
| Messages to the AI coach and what the coach remembers about you: goals, injuries, equipment, preferences | coach chat | answers and workouts tailored to you |
| Support requests and attached screenshots | in-app support form | replying to you |
| Push notification token, time zone, language, app version; whether notifications, widgets and Apple Health writing are on | your device | workout reminders and in-app tips |
| Purchase details: plan, period, purchase ID, store country, auto-renewal status | Apple or the website payment service | giving you access to Ultra |
| Usage events: which screen was opened, when, and how fast it loaded | our server | usage statistics and fixing bugs |
| Device advertising identifier (on iPhone only if you allow tracking) and the flag showing whether ad tracking is limited; on Android also the App Set ID, Install Referrer data from Google Play, a root-access flag, carrier name and code, and SIM card details; device model and OS version, screen, language, time zone, free storage, network type, IP address, battery level and charging status; time of install, launches, sessions and sign-up | MyTracker SDK in the app | to see which of our ads led to the install |
| Crash reports: error type, stack trace, device model and OS version, app version, numeric account ID | the app when it crashes or freezes | finding and fixing bugs |
On your device the app keeps your settings and the sign-in key in secure storage: on iPhone in the Keychain, on Android encrypted with a key held in the Android Keystore. The app shows no ads. To see which of our VK ads led to an install, the app sends MyTracker the device advertising identifier, the fact of install, launches and sign-up, and the technical device details from the table above. Location, Wi-Fi networks, the list of your apps and purchases are not sent to MyTracker. On iPhone the advertising identifier is sent only if you allow tracking in the system prompt; you can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete the advertising ID in your phone’s Google settings. Your name, email, workouts, health data and messages to the coach are never sent to MyTracker or ad platforms.
Apple Health
AtletIQ works with Apple Health only after you allow it in the system prompt. You grant access to each data type separately.
What the app writes to Health: strength workouts, active calories for each workout, and body weight if you enter it in AtletIQ.
What the app reads from Health: nothing. AtletIQ only writes to Health.
Our server stores only whether you allowed writing to Health. No Health data reaches it.
Apple Watch. During a workout, the watch shows your heart rate and saves the workout to Health when you finish. Sets and weights logged on the watch reach our server through your iPhone, the same way as a workout logged on the phone. Heart rate stays on the watch and in Health; it is not sent to our server.
Data from Apple Health:
- is never used for advertising or marketing;
- is never sold;
- is never shared with third parties, including the AI coach and analytics services.
You can revoke access at any time in iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → AtletIQ. You can also turn off writing to Health in the app’s Profile.
AI coach
The coach chat only works after you agree to it. Before your first message, the app shows what the coach can see and where your data goes.
The coach receives your messages, profile, workout history, one-rep maxes, current program, and what it has remembered about you before. Replies are generated by an OpenAI model (USA). Requests reach OpenAI through our own server. No Apple Health data is sent to the coach.
Sending data to OpenAI is an international transfer. You consent to it on the consent screen and can withdraw consent by emailing support@atletiq.com. The coach is not a doctor: if you have pain or an injury, see a specialist.
Who we share data with
The services below receive data. We do not sell your data.
| Recipient | What they receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Apple | your notification token and the notification text; for App Store purchases, the purchase details | delivering notifications, processing subscriptions |
| Google (USA) | on Android: your notification token and the notification text | delivering notifications |
| OpenAI (USA) | the data listed under “AI coach” | generating coach replies |
| Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., servers in Germany) | the crash reports listed above, sent through our server | finding and fixing bugs |
| Unisender (Russia) | your email address and the email text | sending emails |
| MyTracker (VK LLC, Russia) and VK Ads | device advertising identifier and technical device details, IP address, time of install, launches and sign-up | counting installs from our ads on VK |
| bystropay.ru and its acquiring bank | account number, plan and amount; you enter your card details on the bank’s page | payments on the website |
| Yandex Metrica, Google Tag Manager | website visit data via cookies | website statistics |
Apart from those listed, data is disclosed only to government authorities on a lawful request.
Ultra subscription and payments
Outside Russia, you subscribe to Ultra in the app through the App Store. Apple handles payment, renewal, and cancellation. Apple sends us only the purchase details: plan, period, store country, and auto-renewal status. We never see your card number or other payment details.
In Russia, Ultra is paid for on atletiq.com through the bystropay.ru payment service. You enter your card details on the bank’s page, and they never reach us. We receive the plan, amount, date, and payment status.
To cancel an App Store subscription, go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → AtletIQ. To cancel a subscription bought on the website, use the “Turn off auto-renewal” link in the first payment email or email support@atletiq.com.
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription: cancel it separately in iPhone Settings. A subscription bought on the website is cancelled automatically when you delete your account.
Where data is stored
Your account, workouts, photos, coach chat, and support requests are stored on our servers in Russia. Data leaves Russia only for OpenAI (USA) for the AI coach, Apple and Google (USA) for notification tokens and texts, Sentry (Germany) for crash reports, and Google Tag Manager (USA) for website visit data. Apple Health data stays on your device and in Health.
How long we keep data and how to delete it
We keep your data for as long as your account exists.
To delete your account in the app, go to Profile → Delete account. You can also email support@atletiq.com from the address your account is registered with.
Deleting your account erases your name, email, password, profile, body measurements, workouts, one-rep maxes, photos, notification tokens, coach chat history, coach memory, and support requests. You can no longer sign in to a deleted account.
After deletion, we keep:
- payment records, for 5 years, as required by tax law;
- programs you published in the shared catalog that other people use, with your name removed;
- a technical request log with no name or email.
Copies held by OpenAI are deleted under its own policies. To speed this up, email support@atletiq.com.
Your rights
You can:
- find out what data we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your account and data;
- withdraw consent for the AI coach, notifications, and Apple Health access;
- object to usage statistics.
Send requests to support@atletiq.com. We reply within 10 business days, in line with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ on Personal Data and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you believe we are violating your rights, you can complain to Roskomnadzor or to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
AtletIQ is not intended for children under 16. If we learn that a child under that age has created an account, we will delete the account and its data.
Changes to this policy
We publish each new version on this page with the date at the top.
